Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun (地縛少年花子くん,Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun?) is an ongoing manga by AidaIro which has been serializing in the G-Fantasy magazine since 2014, with twenty-three volumes currently in print. Yen Press has been licensed to release the manga translated in English both in digital and print book forms.
An anime adaptation of the manga by Lerche began airing in the Winter 2020 anime season on January 9th, later ending on March 26th of the same year after a 12-episode run. 4 Years later, two Season 2 parts of the anime were done for the Winter 2025 and Summer 2025 anime seasons respectively
Shinigami-Sama (死神様,Shinigami-Sama?) is a supernatural haunting Kamome Gakuen on Urabon (盂蘭盆,Urabon?), a day where several come together to weave baskets without succumbing to sleep. He is the current representative of the Sixth Mystery. He is also known as The Reaper from the rumors and guards the boundary closest to the Far Shore. However, he can only appear once each year for this event.
